JUNIOR RESULTS March 2022

U12 Ireland V Poland – International Friendly Series Castlebar Tennis Club

On the back of a successful U12 Tennis Europe event in February, Tennis Ireland hosted the Poland U12 team in an international friendly.

Alicia Sutton was selected to be a part of the U12 team which was based on National Rankings. Alicia is ranked No 2.

Alicia won her first match against the No 1 Polish seed Patricia Faber & lost to the No 2 Polish seed Zuzanna Gizewska.

Overall Alicia won 3 matches (1 singles, 1 doubles & 1 mixed doubles)

Poland beat Ireland 21-7 (3 of these points were contributed by Alicia’s wins)
