A Shining Light in the Community

From its very inception, Shankill Tennis Club, was built for the
community by the community.

We keep this core value at the heart of our club. Tennis for all is what we strive to achieve.

We have wonderful volunteers who are creative in their approaches to what tennis can mean to the community, and who freely give of their time to bring these projects to life.

In this section of our website, you will find some of our community projects, both past and present. If you have an idea for a community project, we would love to hear from you.

If you would like to volunteer with any of the ongoing projects, or if you wish to participate in any of the schemes, we would love to hear from you.

Disability Tennis

Tennis for players with a disability is an important feature of the club. It started in 2014 with groups from Festina Lente and Carmona Services, local organisations that provide services to people with an intellectual disability.

Ladies Tennis

Shankill Tennis Club is a community tennis club and as such it is open to everyone so it is not a requirement that you are a member to play here

Junior Tennis

The juniors at Shankill Tennis are the future of the club and we have a great bunch of young players. Our goal is for them to get as much out of the club as they can.
