Shankill Tennis club reaches the Finals of the National Lottery Good Causes Awards!

The National Lottery has provided significant support to the club over the years.  This has enabled Shankill Tennis Club to develop and extend our ability to offer the opportunity to learn and play tennis to many players with a disability at the club.

This includes the introduction of blind/vision impaired tennis to Ireland – which has now grown to 10 other clubs and 120 players in the country.  Shankill hosted the 2018 world blind tennis championships in our Indoor Centre.

We are delighted to announce that the club has qualified as a finalist in the Sports section of this year’s Good Causes Awards.   The awards recognise clubs and organisation that have made the most impact on their communities, members or service users with the Funds received from the National Lottery.
