VI Tournament Table Quiz

Following on from the great success of last year’s VI Tennis Tournament in Spain, Dublin are hosting the 2nd ever World Blind Tennis Tournament from 27th – 30th April at Shankill Tennis Club.

In about 6 weeks time, approximately 60 players from all around the world will compete in the B1, B2, B3 and new experimental B4/B5 categories.

Over the four days there will be such a buzz in the area with players and guides and trainers and supporters travelling to and fro between Dun Laoghaire and Shankill, all with varying degrees of sight loss or blindness, and all with competition and fun on their minds.

As you can imagine, there are huge costs involved in hosting such a large worldwide event, including sight classification, equipment, transport, catering and everything in between, so the Irish VI Tennis team are fundraising to try put on the best possible tournament for everyone involved.
